Arran 19 Year Old - 1997 | Abbey Whisky Tasting Notes
Appearance: Yellow gold.
Nose: Buttermilk, vanilla, blackcurrants, dried apricots, sour cherries, warming ginger and a touch of coffee.
Palate: Lovely silky texture, and a heck of a balance between sweet fruits and slightly sour maltiness. Blackberries, coffee, dark chocolate and heather honey.
Finish: Dark chocolate, honey and some wood bitterness.

Nose: Raisins and brambles; vanilla custard, fruit trifle and butter.
Palate: Fruit pudding, vanilla, plum jam and a rich creamy chocolate; coffee liqueur.
Finish: More dark fruits, chocolate, buttered popcorn, vanilla, sherried sorbet.
