BenRiach 1971, cask 1947 is the oldest in BenRiach's 2011 range of limited edition single cask releases. 40 years of age and part of batch 8, this wonderful single malt whisky scored a massive 96.5 points in Jim Murray’s 2012 Whisky Bible. If you don’t take the ‘bible’ as gospel, it also received an excellent 93 points by Serge via whiskyfun.com.
