Tasting Notes
Tobermory 21 Year Old - 1995 | Abbey Whisky Tasting Notes
Appearance: Very pale, white wine.
Nose: Fresh, floral, delicate. Grapefruit, gooseberries. Green apples. Traces of vanilla.
Palate: Green apples again, but lots of yeasty, cheesy, slightly sweaty feints. Digestive biscuits. Echoes of new make – astonishing considering the age.
Finish: Lots of black pepper, with feints showing.
Tobermory 21 Year Old - 1995 | Small Batch Producer Tasting Notes
Nose: Salty; waxed leather and salted pork. A little smoke and drying.
Palate: The saltiness continues and a slight smokiness emerges with undertones of custard creams and a short waxy note.
Finish: Ash, dry, cooked fruits, peppery, salted popcorn and digestive biscuit notes.
