Benromach 10 Year Old - Abbey Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Gentle smoke, spiced ginger, lots of stewed fruits, apples, raisins, figs, even a touch of prune? getting sweet pears the more the dram warms up and airs. Palate: Creamy, lots of ginger and wood smoke. Quite a mouthful. Lots of dark chocolate & bitterness, lemon zest, slight biscuity/malty notes. Overall: Superb value for money, so complex & developed for an entry level dram. Really enjoyed this, my new go-to dram for now!
