Whisky Review - Kilchoman Sanaig
Kilchoman Sanaig / 70cl / 46%
Recently added to the Kilchoman portfolio, Sanaig takes it's name from a small rocky inlet located north west of the distillery and has been created from whisky matured in bourbon & sherry casks.

Kilchoman Sanaig Tasting Notes - Abbey Whisky
Nose: Delicate cured meat & smoky peat on the nose with ripe pink lady apples, butterscotch, cinnamon, sea spray and cream soda…
Palate: Salted caramel, brine, hint of citrus & white pepper. Lovely combination of smoke & sweetness.
Finish: Good length - slight sweetness with smokiness that lingers.
Overall: A very well balance dram, perfect at 46% vol.
We're really enjoying the Feis Ile 2016 and look forward to what Kilchoman distillery has on offer for this year's special release.
