Anyway... We thought it was only fair to share the love so we've decided to give away a bottle of this stunning Islay whisky to one lucky winner!

A little bit about Kilchoman Distillery and also our exclusive single cask release... (Kilchoman cask 285/09)
Established in 2005, Kilchoman distillery holds true to tradition, it’s one of only a handful of distilleries to still practice floor maltings; they even grow their own barley! We’ve always greatly admired Islay's farm distillery and what it stands for, so to team up and release this wonderful dram makes us incredibly proud indeed!
Kilchoman Cask #285/09 has been matured for over four and a half years in a fresh bourbon barrel before being transferred to a Pedro Ximénez cask for a further four months maturation. The PX finish on this release works a treat, softening things down a little but still allowing the dram to hold the traditional taste & characteristics you would expect from a Kilchoman whisky of this age. A perfect combination.
Single cask #285/09 has been bottled at cask strength, 58.3% vol with 270 bottles filled.
The boring stuff!
1. Rules to participate - All you need to do to enter is to 'like' the Abbey Whisky Facebook page - Like and share the competition post and answer the competition question... . No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this competition. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be counted. The decision of the promoter (Abbey Whisky Limited) is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
2. Restrictions By entering this competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you meet the minimum legal age for purchasing alcoholic beverages in your country of residence.
3. Prize The winner will receive the stated prize as listed in the daily competition message. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries. The prize is as stated and non transferable. No alternative to the prize will be given. If due to circumstances beyond our control, Abbey Whisky Limited reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.
4. Results - The winner will be contacted directly via Facebook and also publicly via the competition post. If proof of age is requested by the promoter (Abbey Whisky Limited) and satisfactory proof of age is not provided by the winner, the promoter (Abbey Whisky Limited) reserves the right to withdraw the prize.
5. If no response have been made within 7 days from announcing the winner via Facebook, Abbey Whisky reserves the right to select another winner via a redraw - The original winner will no longer have the right to win the prize...
