WMTV reviews Caperdonich 17 - The Rare Casks
Back in December 2013, Pierre from Whisky Market TV reviewed our Caperdonich 17 year old, which was the 1st release in our Rare Casks Series. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2012 at cask strength 55.7% vol, this mothballed marvel was chosen by WMTV as a Christmas pick during the 2013 festive period.
Sadly the stock of our Caperdonich has long gone, but within the series we still have three other fine drams to choose from. Release 2 is a 23 year old Bunnahabhain; an incredibly smooth dram that has a gentle hint of peat, due to it's time spent in a cask that previously held a peated malt. The 3rd release is mighty sherry bomb from the Ben Nevis distillery; and lastly, the fourth, is a stunning Highland malt from the Glencadam distillery. As you would expect, each whisky has been bottled in its natural form, at full cask strength, without chill filtering or colour additives.
Below you can view the video which was listed on WMTV... If, after watching you're rather annoyed with me for listing a whisky video of a bottle that's no longer available, worry not, we still have a few Caperdonich 10cl bottles available, which you can snap up >> here. (at time of writing)
