Tormore 15 Year Old - 2008 | Cask 804904 | Infrequent Flyers (UK Exclusive)
Described by many as a hidden gem, Tormore distillery produce an excellent spirit, the single casks we've sampled from the distillery of late have been excellent and this 2008 vintage is certainly of very high quality and up there of one of the best we've tried for sometime. Chosen by Alistair Walker to be part of this new batch of UK exclusives single casks, it was distilled in 2008 and matured for 15 years in cask. Bottled from a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon, 678 bottles have been filled from cask #804904 at 58.6% vol.

Nose
Deep, heavy fruit aromas. Rum and raisin fudge. Oven-baked apples and raisin strudel.
Palate
Weighty, mouth-coating and lush, this is super tasty, with a classic PX Sherry influence - stewed raisins and sultanas, rich cocoa and molten brown sugar. Cinnabons, with a touch of warming all-spice and ginger.
