This exquisite new release has been expertly picked by Sean Russell exclusively for the members of the Facebook group “SherryBomb Whisky Appreciation Society” – aka the SBWAS. A little different from previous expressions as the label has been expertly designed by talented Graphic Designer, Peter Herron to create this special bespoke label with the idea being that each future bottle release will display a unique label that connects to the previous release, creating a visual puzzle (all containing some glorious liquid of course!)
The whisky is heavenly, distilled in 2009 at the Aultmore distillery it's spent 14 years maturing in a 1st fill Oloroso sherry hogshead. Bottled in 2023 at natural cask strength and colour, only 244 bottles have been filled and made available for this very rare and limited edition release, exclusively bottled for SBWAS.

Nose
Stewed plums & raisins jump out of the glass, chased by cherry cake, leather car seats and fruit & nut chocolate.
Palate
Deep sweetness with honey & cake spice. Gentle wax polish with some oakiness plays on the tongue. Everything's wrapped up in sherry soaked raisins.
Finish
Long & lingering with notes of spiced caramel, sherry and subtle oak.
