A small batch of ex-Laphroaig and refill barrels have been used to created this peated little number from Elixir Distillers. This single malt from the Highlands of Scotland was distilled in 2009 and matured for 13 years before being bottled at 48%, without any additional colouring or chill-filtration. Looks like another great single malt release from Oliver Chilton and his team at Elixir Distillers, released as part of the Single Malts of Scotland, Reserve Casks series.
