Whisky Sponge 'Edition No. 58b' has filled from the second half of the same butt of Ben Nevis 1996 that was bottled for Edition No. 58a, the difference being that this release has been finished in a 2nd fill sherry butt for just over two years. Bottled at 55% vol, it's said to taste 'like Optimus Prime after an intense workout while wearing a sheep wool cardigan in a cosmic potting shed'. That works for us, sounds like another excellent and well aged Ben Nevis release!
