This Bas-Armagnac from Domaine Tariquet has been made exclusively using the Plant de Graisse grape variety and matured in French oak barrels for a minimum of 18 years. This 18 year old Bas-Armagnac has a wonderful length on the palate has been bottled in natural form with no additional colouring or sweeteners. The colour on this Armagnac comes purely from its time ageing in wood.
Located in Gascony in the South West of France, Domaine Tariquet has been producing Armagnac since 1683 with the Grassa family owning the estate since 1912. Producing its delightful Armagnac using the grapes harvested from the family estates vineyards, the distillation takes place in a traditional copper alembic fired from wood recycled from vine stakes.
