Another magnificent old and rare release from the good folk at North Star Spirits. 'Capella' was born at the Invergordon distillery in 1994 and matured in cask for 30 long years. A marriage of 2 refill hogshead casks of single grain Scotch whisky, bottled in 2024 at 50% vol and natural colour. This is Capella Limited Edition No 1.
Capella is the sixth brightest star in the night sky and the brightest in the constellation Auriga.
