This stunning Taiwanese single malt whisky has been matured in barrels that previously held red and white wine. Before being filled with the Kavalan spirit, the casks were toasted and re-charred, the whisky was then fully matured in cask #3067A, then bottled at cask strength, 56.3%. Named the 'World's Best Single Malt Whisky' in 2015 at World Whisky Awards.
