What an incredible and landmark release for Kilchoman distillery, this latest Islay expression is the oldest global bottling filled by the distillery, a 16 year old Kilchoman! The liquid inside is a vatting of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, with a heavily peated level of 50PPM, then filled to bottle at 50% vol.
What an exciting journey to see the distillery grow over the years since production started in 2005, we can't to try this latest release and see how the whisky has evolved over the years. It's sure to be magnificent!
