A heavenly single malt from Royal Brackla distillery, distilled in 2014 and matured for 10 years then bottled from a recharred butt. Filled to bottle by superb indie bottlers Thompson bros, filled at 55.3% vol with artwork by KMG. Tasting notes for this single malt Royal Brackla sound excellent!

Awards
Nose
Salted caramel, toffee apple, some pollen, fudgy wudgy, browning pear, sweet lemon and honey (would make an excellent hot toddy), Himalayan musk.
Palate
Very buttery/honeyed flapjacks, pale ale, ginger, pears follow on from the nose, black pepper, red apples. The dechar/rechar cask shows a delicate balance of fresh oak influence and fruit-forward distillate.
Finish
Sweet lemon returns with some pears, slightly acidic close.
