Distilled in 2012, this limited release from Benromach distillery has been matured in kiln dried virgin oak casks for 10 years. Bottled in 2023, this is one of two limited edition releases under the 'Contrasts' series, the other dram has been matured in air dried virgin oak casks, so would make for a superb side by side comparison seeing how each maturation style changes the flavour profile whilst in cask.

Aromas of waxy lemon peel, toffee apple, sweet hay and malt biscuit.
Palate
Creamy with tropical pineapple flavours. Barley sugar, fresh lime and ginger. Menthol undertones develop alongside oak.
Finish
Sweet notes of smoke linger on the finish.
