Age Of Discovery Bourbon Official Tasting Notes:
Nose: Warm, crunchy toffee and deep citrus notes, marmalade on toast and a whiff of a fine old orange liqueur, are balanced by dry almost smoky notes of oak tannin.
Taste: Overall complex and layered, developing overtime, especially with the addition of a little water.
Light tannins underpin rich notes of vanilla pod, fine leather and Havana tobacco, the whole developing a sweet, velvety mouth feel enhanced by spicy hints of cardamom and nutmeg fading very slowly into a warm and delightfully long finish.
Colour: A vibrant living gold - fields of autumn barley.
