The latest release from J & A Mitchell & Co. Ltd is this beautiful Hazelburn Scotch whisky from Campbeltown. Distilled November 2003 & bottled in 2014 after maturing in Rundlet & Kilderkin barrels for 10 years. A Kilderkin or Rundlet is a small oak cask equal to an imperial measurement of volume of 18 gallons or 68 litres. With this process the spirit has a lot more contact with the wood resutling in some very rich, complex flavours.
