This special single cask was released as part of the Na Sia single cask collection from Isle of Raasay distillery, a six cask collection of drams showcasing the casks used to create the single malt produced at the distillery on Raasay. The distillery combines peated and un-peated spirits in ex-rye whiskey, chinkapin oak and ex-Bordeaux red wine casks.
This particular single cask, released as part of limited Na Sia single cask collection was distilled 4th October 2018 using peated spirit then laid to rest in ex-Rye whiskey cask #18/641 until 7th July 2022. 210 bottles filled at 62.3% vol.
Na Sia translates to 'The Six' in Gaelic.
