Janet Sheed Roberts, daughter of Charles and Ella Gordon (nee Grant) was born on the thirteenth of August 1901.
In her youth she and her family helped support her Grandfather William Grant, founder of the Company.
She married Eric Lloyd Roberts who was later to serve as Chairman and Managing Director for many years.
