The 2024 release of Longrow 18 year old, a peated single malt from Campbeltown. For the 2024 release, this special Campbeltown malt has been crafted from whisky matured in 90% sherry casks and 10% port casks. To create Longow whisky, the peat goes through an intense 48 drying process in the the Springbank kiln, then double distilled which adds a more heavily peated and oily character to the whisky.

Nose
This year’s Longrow 18 kicks off with notes of blackberry jam, walnuts, liquorice and a subtle smokiness on the nose.
Palate
The peat smoke continues on the palate and notes of black forest gateaux, maraschino cherries, dates and dark chocolate ganache are introduced.
Finish
A long, gentle finish, there are notes of coffee beans, sea salt and peat smoke.
