Spirale from French whisky producer, Michel Couvreur. Distilled 24th October 1989 and matured in wood for 26 year with the last 3 years in an intensely impregnated Jura cask. Whisky produced by Michel Couvreur is very unique, taking whisky distilled in Scotland, then shipping it to France and carefully maturing it further in a variety of sherry oak casks in a Burgundian cave! Named Spirale after the very rare wine, which is made from grapes dried on straw!
