Old Pulteney WK499, named after the last remaining herring fishing boat, The Isabella Furtuna WK499. WK499 sailed up and around the coasts of Wick for 86 years before being acquired by the Wick Society in 1977.
Old Pulteney Wk499 Official Notes:
Colour: Bright, light gold.
Nose: Light brown sugar and sweet coconut, with rich creamy toffee, balanced by green apples, lemon and mandarin notes.
Palate: Sweet, soft and delicately complex with chewy vanilla and warm spices, with a lingering warm finish.
