A rather special bottling, considering that this release lived longer that the distillery itself. Pittyvaich distillery was established in 1975 then sadly closed in 1993.... This limited edition release was distilled in 1989 and aged in American oak hogsheads and first fill ex-bourbon barrels, before being bottled in 2015 at natural cask strength, 49.9% vol.
