The latest cask strength release from Tamdhu distillery, exclusively matured in the finest of Oloroso sherry casks. A mighty dram, batch 6 has been bottled un-chillfiltered, natural colour and filled from cask to bottle at 56.8% vol.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The fresh spiciness of oak, then roasted nuts and warming vanilla.
Palate: Summer berry pudding with crème anglaise. A dash of water brings orange, lemon and even more oak spice.
Finish: Cinnamon spice swells, revealing a long farewell of citrus zest and ripe figs.
