This single cask release was distilled 12th September 2008 and was fully matured in a fresh bourbon barrel. Exclusively bottled for the Islay Pipe Band in 2013, only 277 bottles were filled at cask strength, 60.4% vol.

Tasting Notes

Soft peaty aromas, citrus and pears.
Palate
Sweet and peaty, music for the mouth, ripe and fruity.
Finish
Finish is long with muted boom of the bass drum fading in the distance and the grace notes of fruit and peat lingering on the palate.
