We're now onto the 8th batch of delightful cask strength whisky from GlenAllachie distillery. This latest special release has been matured for 10 years in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons along with a small quantity of virgin oak and Rioja casks. Bottled at 57.2% vol, GlenAllachie cask strength batch 8 is bursting with wonderful rich flavours, perfect for the colder months ahead.

Nose
Bursting with mocha, nutmeg and walnut oil, with notes of heather honey, sweet raisins and dried red berries.
Palate
Lashings of cinnamon spice, molasses and honeycomb, followed by ginger and dark chocolate.
Finish
Hints of nutmeg and fennel on the finish.
