This special single cask was released as part of the Na Sia single cask collection from Isle of Raasay distillery, a six cask collection of drams showcasing the casks used to create the single malt produced at the distillery on Raasay. The distillery combines peated and un-peated spirits in ex-rye whiskey, chinkapin oak and ex-Bordeaux red wine casks.
This single cask release was distilled 11th May 2018 using un-peated spirit then laid to rest in ex-Bordeaux red wine cask #18/247 until 30th June 2022 with only 273 bottles filled at 61.9% vol.
Na Sia translates to 'The Six' in Gaelic.
