Meikle Tòir The Original, released as part of an exciting new series from GlenAllachie Distillery! A peated Speyside malt, crafted using peat from St. Fergus, given a fermentation time of 160 hours, then matured in a combination of first fill bourbon barrels, American virgin oak casks and Rye barrels. 35PPM, bottled at 50% vol, natural colour and non-chill filtered.

Baking spices, burnt honey and roasted coffee beans, leading to hazelnuts, smoked almonds and butterscotch.
Palate
Wisps of sweet peat, with rich chocolate and heather honey, followed by cinnamon, ginger and oak-smoked sugar.
