Tamnavulin 40 Year Old Producer Tasting Notes
Nose: Honeysuckle and gingerbread biscuits compliment soft baked apples and pears. Toasted vanilla pods with dried fruit and a background eucalyptus note giving a hint of the age. Light wood polish notes of wood polish offset with pine needles.
Palate: Brown sugar with walnuts and hazelnuts with a thick rounded mouth feel. Rich milk chocolate and soft Victoria sponge with poached pears and vanilla ice cream. Mint leaves dusted with icing sugar come through with just a hint of spice leaving you wanting more.
Finish: Gracefully fading away with a rich orange and cumin spice.
