Released by Berry Bros & Rudd for The Nordic Casks #2, this unique release from Thy distillery, Denmark is a cask of Thy's Bøg make, smoked with Beachwood, matured in two quarter casks then vatted together. An exciting Danish release and one we're looking forward to trying. Only 235 bottles filled at 57.6%.

Nose
The nose darts out of the glass with powerful aromas of wood smoke akin to German Rauchbier, cedar, aged mezcal with a building toffee note as it breathes.
Palate
There’s an unexpected burst of citrus on the palate followed by vibrant fruits and melon, smoke follows a second after giving a wonderful ashy character.
Finish
A lingering finish of fruit smoke, sour apples and cinnamon leaves a powerful impression.
