We believe the first distillation run at Kilchoman was December 2005, so this particular cask was filled during the first year of production at the distillery. Distilled 12th April 2006 and matured in single bourbon cask 26/2006 for just over 5 years, then filled to bottle 18th April 2011 at cask strength, 58.7% vol.

Tasting Notes
Awards
Nose
Signature peaty aromas and a complex blend of pear drops, light citrus and mango. Some spice.
Palate
Initial sweetness followed by peat smoke and mixed fruit developing nicely.
Finish
The finish is long, clean and refreshing leaving hints of peat smoke and spicy cloves.
