Paul John Bold AW Tasting Notes
Nose: Lovely warm spice, cinnamon, white pepper, eucalyptus, slight TCP bandage notes, tobacco… Soft, aged leather, earthy ripe apples, good wave of smoke coming through…Nutty, creamy almonds…
Palate: Big hit of honey, softens down, lingering warm pepper, which seems to get stronger with time. Delicate peat, salted caramel and cloves.
Finish: The pepper stays for a while, along with a slight bitter/metallic note, tobacco and hints of sweet smoke.
