Nose
This classy Speysider shows a perfect balance of distillate and wood. Initially aromas of spiced gingerbread, Belgium waffle and sweet clove rock emerge, before complexity builds ripe orchard fruits, jaffa casks and tinned pineapple develop with time.
Palate
The palate shows a wonderful clean Moscatel character, with more sticky ginger bread, ripe apple, honeycomb and marzipan rolling round the palate. A little water shows deeper dried fruits and baking spice.
Finish
A long finish brings rich Dundee Cake and the suggestion of wood smoke. A rich, fulfilling and complex dram, ideal to unwind while contemplating the fifteen long years it's taken to accomplish such a feat.
